About Martín Purtill
Martín Purtill has been writing and recording music since 1999. For him, music has been a consistent medium for expression and healing. Singing and performing in various bands over the years (Behind the Satellites, All the Wrong People, These Paper Satellites and more) Martín enjoys the ability to write and create with others and "just play great music." Now based in Los Angeles, Martín's journey of performing and writing original music continues, along with teaching and passing down the pure joy of it all to the next generation.
Teaching History
As a music mentor for over 8 years, Martín Purtill has a passion for teaching music because of the connection it creates with children and the personal growth they can gain from a meaningful program. Martín previously served as Musical Director for 2 youth rock bands at The Young Artist Conservatory of Music (YACM) in Vacaville CA,
Lessons
Martín currently teaches Music Martín classes in Culver City CA, with children ranging in age from 3 months to 4 years old.
Martín also provides Private In-Person lessons or Private Virtual lessons for Guitar and Bass.
